A totally cool feature is that you can label your dish by writing directly on any of the glazed areas with a permanent marker, and while the ink won’t come off on your hands or other surfaces, it washes off easily in warm, soapy water.

We had a little trouble getting the lid seated at one point and an overzealous Ocheffer cracked it. It is ceramic, after all. Eventually everyone calmed down and we got the hang of closing it gently but securely. We recommend reaching this knowledge level before breaking it to pieces.
